Flawed Story

A Flawed Story…

img_0416Avionne Wallace is free spirited, self motivated, driven and confident individual who was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. Growing up as the youngest of four, she always spent her time grooming herself for the real world. She is currently in her third year at Boston College, majoring in Marketing. Business has always been an interest of hers because throughout her life she has found great pleasure with doing Mathematics; more specifically, dealing with numbers. Singing is her God-given talent, shopping is something that is always on her agenda and spending time with her family is a priority. She enjoys eating food, listening to music, hanging out with friends, watching television and spending time by HERself to reflect on life. Overall, she is a very simple and outspoken individual who enjoys the little things in life.

Her flaw is being too slim and not being able to trust many people.Throughout her entire life she has been picked on due to her size. Avionne always wanted to be a bit thicker and even though she has tried to eat bigger portions at a time, it hasn’t worked. Also, when it comes to her image and being in the habit of asking people how she looks, she has always had a hard time believing them because she does not trust a lot of people.

With time, she has become more comfortable in her own skin and accepted the fact that she was small boned (slim). Also, she has decided to give people a chance to prove their loyalty to her, so now she does not have such a hard time trusting others.

Advice from Avionne, ” Do not be ashamed of who you are. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. The one thing that I have learned over the years is that the one thing that you may hate about yourself, is the one thing that someone else might desperately want or admire about you. Ignore the negative comments and just be comfortable in your own skin”.
